Vesak Brilliant First-Aid Dansala
brilliant Health joined thousands of devotees celebrating the Vesak festival this year with a unique Dansala. Amidst the usual vivid Vesak decorations, lanterns and pandols, this Dansala was specially organized to improve the health and safety of the general public. It was planned in accordance with the principles of Lord Buddha who taught his followers to help each other irrespective of race or religion. A family first aid box containing medicines useful in day to day life was presented to all devotees who visited the Dansala, together with advice on how First Aid could be administered. Instructions were also given on how to prevent the fast spreading influenza virus which is spreading rapidly. The aim was to make the public aware that the greatest wealth - is health.
